PENANG players qualified for both the men's and women's squash individual finals at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium yesterday. Elvinn Keo and Low Wee Wern both face tough final hurdles against the top seeds Mohd Nafizwan Adnan of Terengganu and Delia Arnold of the Federal Territories respectively. The defending’s women’s champion Wee Wern eliminated Siti Munirah Jusoh 9-6, 9-2, 9-0 in the semi-finals while Delia defeated Low Wee Nee 9-1, 9-0, 9-2. Elvinn, the SEA Games gold medallist defeated Perak's Chong Kam Hing, the defending men’s champion 2-9, 9-3, 4-9, 9-7, 9-1. Nafizwan booked his place in the final with a 9-7, 9-2, 9-5 win over Mohd Asyraf Azan of FT.
