SEA GAMES, Laos: squash out!
It is official. Bowling, gymnastics and squash will not be con-*test*-('")ed in the 2009 SEA Games in Laos.
In a SEA Games Federation (SGF) meeting last week, it was decided that Laos would stage only 22 sports.
The sports in the programme are aquatics (swimming and diving), athletics, badminton, boxing, football, golf, judo, karate, sepaktakraw, shooting, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, wushu, fin swimming, Muay Thai, petanque, silat, shuttlecock and traditional boat race.
