Palmer downs Beng Hee Malaysia’s Ong Beng Hee suffered a second straight defeat in the Super Series Finals, going down 7-11, 7-11, 9-11 to British Open champion David Palmer in London on Tuesday.
The victory for Palmer in 42 minutes assured the Australian a place in the semi-finals.

He will play against Gregory Gaultier of France in a match to decide the group winner. Gaultier also chalked up his second straight win, beating Wael El Hindi of Egypt 13-11, 11-7, 11-6.
World number one Amr Shabana of Egypt is also assured of a place in the semi-finals as the winner of the other group.
He chalked up a second successive win on Tuesday, beating Frenchman Thierry Lincou 7-11, 11-5, 12-10, 11-2.
Lee Beachill of England kept alive his semi-final hopes when he beat compatriot James Willstrop 13-11, 11-7, 11-6. Beachill will play against Lincou to decide the other semi-finalist from the group.
